Art and Design

The Faculty of Business and Law offers a wide range of industry-aligned postgraduate courses. Indeed, our course content is informed by the latest industry developments, ensuring you are prepared for the employment market.
You can benefit from strong links with major professional bodies and employers, allowing you to build your professional network. We also have accreditations and certifications from respected bodies, including the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and more. Some of these are embedded within our courses or give you exemptions towards achieving them.
From accounting to law to international business and project management, courses have been designed to enhance your skills and knowledge within a specialist area and prepare you for your future career.
You’ll be taught in our purpose-built Hugh Aston building, which offers modern study facilities, such as IT labs, study suites, learning zones and a café.
In addition, our Law students can benefit from law-specific facilities such as a library, mock courtrooms and client interviewing spaces. You will also have access to the Oxford Law Trove, which contains around 200 law textbooks supporting your learning across core and optional modules.
We also have a dedicated Bloomberg Trading room, installed with industry-standard software giving you an experience of a real trading floor environment.
Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media
The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media postgraduate programmes benefit from decades of well-established academic and industry expertise.
Many of our postgraduate programmes benefit from a new block model for delivering our courses, known as Education 2030. This means a more simplified timetable where you will study one subject at a time instead of several at once. You will have more time to engage with your learning and get to know the teaching team and course mates. You will receive faster feedback through more regular assessment, and have a better study-life balance to enjoy other important aspects of university life.
Learning is driven by expertise from leading research centres and institutes and you will have access to multi-million-pound state-of-the-art facilities. Our Cyber Security laboratories are among the best equipped facilities of this type in the UK, designed with industry leaders to meet the highest forensics and security standards.
A range of our engineering courses are endorsed and accredited by professional engineering bodies including the Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Energy Institute and the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. Many of our engineering graduates are employed as engineers, project leaders and managers for roles in design, research and development.
