Study Resources

There are over 1000 computers to use on our campus/centre of excellences, some of these contain specialist software that you will need for your course. As a Staffordshire University student, you will also have access to download the Microsoft 365 suite for free on five different devices.

During your course you will use our virtual learning environment: Blackboard. Blackboard will give you access to your course and lecture information along with letting you submit your assignments through it.

Family Support

At Staffordshire University, we understand that our students might have childcare commitments. Our Ofsted rated 'outstanding' nursery provides full day-care for children ages 0 to 5 and is available for students, staff and members of the local community.

Location

Our main campus is based in Stoke-on-Trent, with the major cities of Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool all under an hours commute. Plus, we have a specialist healthcare Centre of Excellence in Stafford and Staffordshire University London’s Digital Institute offering the latest in tech courses in the capital.

Accommodation

Our campus locations offer fantastic University accommodation. We have over 1000 single study rooms available in university accommodation on our Stoke-on-Trent campus with en-suite and standard single study rooms along with Leek Road houses, and a range of options for our Stafford Centre of Excellence. What’s more, we have a partnership with Greenpad, a letting service that offers University approved private student halls, houses and studio flats.
