Is a Scam or Legit?

On the night of Sept. 20, 2022, Google users were looking to find out if (Tesla Trading org) and, supposedly endorsed by Elon Musk as the “Tesla invest project,” were a scam or legit.

Right off the top, I can tell you that the Scam Watcher website said that is a “suspected scam.” Also, Google search results said that the Scam Detector website gave a score of 0/100, which is the lowest possible and least trustworthy indicator on the website.

According to domain records, Tesla.Trading was registered on Aug. 20, 2022. As for, it was registered on Sept. 14, six days before I made this video. The latter website was also registered on a domain registrar located in Hong Kong, which I found to be suspicious.

On the website, there’s no privacy policy. There’s a terms of service document, but it looked like a boilerplate document. I couldn’t find any links between the official company Tesla and either of these two websites.

If this “Tesla Trading” organization was real and legitimate and was endorsed by Musk as the “Tesla invest project” or “Tesla investing project,” surely there would be at least a handful of news articles about how Tesla started the websites. However, there are zero, according to a Google search.

In the registration area for and Tesla.Trading, the default country was North Macedonia, which was suspicious to me. You never see that.

Also, there were buttons that claimed you could download a Tesla Trading app. However, there were no links embedded in the buttons, because there is no Tesla Trading app.

In closing, yep, this appears to be a scam. Again, look to the findings from the Scam Watcher and Scam Detector websites. Look at all of the red flags.

Be very careful in giving out any of your personal information or financial data. Lastly, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Stay safe out there and thank you for watching.
