Is the Disney+ Disney Drop Box Offer a Scam or Legit?

The Disney+ Disney Drop box email giveaway promotion or offer is not a scam. It’s a legitimate promotion from Disney that fell right around Disney Plus Day (Disney+ Day / #DisneyPlusDay / Disney Plus Day). Several examples of this offer are included in my video, including screenshots of what the email looked like.

In early September 2022, Google and Twitter users began to ask if an email they received about something called Disney+ Disney Drop box was a scam or legit. I soon found that disneydrop.com was officially registered by Disney and that the entire promotion was genuine.

A PDF on the official Disney Drop box offer website said the following:

“Gift yourself with the happiest box on earth! Disney+’s Disney Drop box is a specially designed and curated package of 8-10 premium Disney products, featuring our most beloved franchises, such as Disney Mickey Mouse, Disney Minnie Mouse, Disney Frozen, Disney Lion King, Disney Aladdin, Disney Moana, Disney & Pixar Toy Story, Disney The Little Mermaid, Disney Beauty & the Beast, Spiderman, Disney & Pixar Cars, and Disney Cinderella (‘Disney+ Disney Drop’). The Disney+ Disney Drop is available, while supplies last, when you renew your Disney+ subscription for another year. Get yours delivered directly to your doorstep in a few easy steps – approximately $150* of value!”

As for how the Disney+ Disney Drop box email offer works, the PDF said the following:

“1. After your Disney+ annual subscription renews, click on the hyperlink code emailed to you by Disney+ before December 31, 2022.
2. Enter shipping information
3. A ‘mystery’ Disney+ Disney Drop box will be sent directly to your address.”

The redemption period for the Disney+ Disney Drop box offer was Sept. 30, 2022 in various emails. However, the PDF on the company’s website said it was Dec. 31, 2022. It’s unclear which was correct.
