Technical Operator Apprenticeship - Tutbury

Job description

Finished school or thinking about a career change? Because as a Technical Operator Apprentice here at Nestlé, you can develop the skills you need for a secure career in manufacturing with progression prospects that you just don’t find elsewhere. We’re the biggest food and drink manufacturer in the world and a centre of expertise in manufacturing. Join us and we’ll help you establish a great career in manufacturing that could set you up for life.

Over two years, our mentors will show you everything you need to know to effectively support food and drink production in our factories. You’ll learn how to start up and shut down our machines and how to use sophisticated automation technology. Diagnosing and resolving problems, you’ll keep our manufacturing process running smoothly and be supported every step of the way. By the end of the programme, you’ll have the confidence to do the role for real and push forward in your career.

What you'll need

To qualify you’ll need maths and English Language GCSEs (or equivalent), with actual or predicted grades at 9–4 (or A*- C if received in 2017 or earlier). Equally important is that you’re ready to commit 100% to developing your career. You will also need to have the right to work in the UK that is not time limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion.

The apprenticeship scheme is running in multiple locations.
