Our Finance Graduate Programme
- Our Finance programme is based around the CIMA qualification and is therefore a 3.5-year programme, broken down into three placements, focusing on Management Accounting, Finance Accounting and Advanced Management Accounting.
- You will also cover financial management, risk management and process evaluation and redesign.
- Carefully selected placements will ensure that you have the necessary exposure to the right areas of the business to support your ongoing development and to make sure that you get a full understanding of how the organisation operates.
- After the programme you will continue to broaden your experience to prepare you for a senior role.
All members of the finance programme will be expected to complete three placements. The first placement being 18 months, followed by two 12-month placements. These could be at any site in the UK and it is essential that you are flexible regarding location in the first 3.5 years.

- Achieved, or are expected to achieve, at least a 2:2 honours degree in any discipline
- Three months' work experience
- An existing ‘right to work’ in the UK

- Flexibility to complete three rotational placements, a minimum of two moves, maximum of three (placements can be in any of our locations)

How to apply
After applying, you can expect to complete some initial questions around some relevant scenarios at Bakkavor, followed by an online psychometric test and a non-live video reflection. If successful, we will invite you to an assessment centre in January or February 2024 and these interviews are for a September 2024 start on the programme.
