Getting things to happen how they should, when they should, safely and within budget is both a science and an art. On this programme, you’ll learn exactly how it’s done.
This two-year programme will help enable you to achieve your project management ambitions whilst rotating on four placements that have a duration of six months each. We will support you and your development within the Association for Project Management (APM) framework, working towards formal Project Management qualifications.
Over the course of the programme, you will undertake placements on real projects, assignments and formal qualifications. You will also receive mentoring from some of the top project professionals within the industry to develop your project management skills, as well as further develop your soft skills.
Project Management at Babcock
Expect to work on many different types of projects across our organisation – from design to construction, in-service support and maintenance and capability enhancement projects.
Whatever the task at hand, risks need to be identified and managed, stakeholder requirements satisfied, and the whole assignment planned and delivered safely on time and to budget.
Along the way, you’ll develop strong relationships with a range of colleagues in areas such as: engineering, commercial, financial and procurement and business winning functions. With that professional network behind you, you’ll have everything you need to tackle anything that comes your way.
